GALA PROGRAM
Given the template from the last year's gala program booklet, I updated each of the pages while at the same time designing a new cover and matching back page. I saw this project through to the end from checking for small errors to sending it to the printer and packaging it up. At the gala it was incredible to see everyone using and carrying the booklet around that I had designed.
FLAIR SOCIAL MEDIA ADS
Given the date and the logo for the event, I was tasked with creating two graphics for an Instagram post. I looked through past graphics used for this event as well as the invitation that was used for the event this year to get inspiration for the graphics that I made.
PRESCHOOL BANNERS
I created these banners which are 14 ft x 4 ft and designed to hang on the side of the fence of The Chicago Lighthouse to advertise the Preschool. I was given last year’s design for the banner and decided to completely update it to make it more legible. After many iterations and consulting with my boss, I finalized the design.
TEXAS CLOCK
Clocks are one of the things that The Chicago Lighthouse prides itself on as all clocks are made by visually impaired people and I was so happy to be asked to design a clock for Texas. After researching past clocks created for states by The Chicago Lighthouse, I settled on putting the Texas flag inside the clock and went through many iterations before I arrived on the final design.
